A home from home, everything we needed for our weekend stay - flooring a bit creaky so a bit of tiptoeing around, but still enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly Situated and Quite
This property has everything and I mean Everything, the bedrooms are large and comfortable with plenty of space to hold your clothes, bathroom is large and the ensuite shower room is big enough, kitchen had all we needed + a few treats, and the lounge/sitting room is spacious and relaxing, hallways well lit and not many steps to climb.
Just a short walk to the centre of Edinburgh, and main train station.
Second Year there - love it.

Spacious, light centrally locat...
We were meet in good time for entry to the flat by a personable young man. Flat was clean, the rooms were light and airy and it was spacious. The central location had good bus connections and the complex of shops and restaurants nearby meant you did not need to travel for necessities or eating. We would use again although on a personal level we would say that the width of the step over the bath to access the shower was tricky for the vertically challenged or for an infirm person. The only other thing was we found the mattress in the main room was too soft. All persons in our party preferred the other room where the mattress was more supportive without being hard. The young gentleman mentioned earlier was appreciative of our feedback when we mentioned instructions for the white goods would be useful.

Great price for top location!
Spacious, great oversized beds with superior mattresses, and overlooks the amazing social scene in the heart of Old Town. Saturday night was the most active. Right around the corner is the market (Sainsbury) to offset the Scottish avoidance of all green veggies and the U.K.'s very high eat-out prices. Scotland is totally amazing, but not the food. The flat is a sincere restoration attempt with wood floors. Fridge is small and milk curdled after two days, but serviceable. Washer only, but drying rack under the bed. Wifi worked great, a godsend since UK is still way behind in access. TV cable was slow changing channels. Walk up stairs are only just serviceable (circular staircase steps narrow on the inside like a castle step), but we made it with our luggage in a single trip. Front door at the bottom of steps: knob is loose so just push hard. No noise from neighboring flats, so only from outside (but a lot more entertaining than TV watching the human parade from window). Only a few steps from all the attractions and shopping, rail station, and day trip pickup points, so never need to take a bus or taxi anywhere -- just make sure to dress in layers with a hat and raincoat (umbrellas won't survive the constant winds!). Starbucks 2 feet away, too! Grab this place if you want to be part of the action.

I booked this apartment for a hen weekend in April. We had a group of 16 and it was absolutely perfect! The apartment was in a great location. It was really central and close to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. There is a good size living room, a well equipped kitchen and lovely spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating - he responded quickly to e-mails and even dropped in a cocktail shaker as I asked if there was one in the apartment. Our deposit was returned two days after we left. It is an absolutely ideal apartment for groups and I would highly recommend staying here.

Ideal location, lovely flat
We really liked the flat. Bright, airy, well laid out main floor flat in a quiet building. Very walkable: close to Stockbridge, the Water of Leith walkway, lots of pubs and eateries like Earthy, Di Giorgio, the Water of Leith Cafe and Bistro. Nice and close to the botanic garden. Comfy bed, nice furniture. Only downside was the owner had recently painted the doors & window frames and the paint smell was a bit much, but that was a temporary situation.
